She was born and grew up in a Buddhist family. After she married, her husband abused her emotionally and spiritually.She was a pagan, and she always worried about what would happen to her soul after she died. A MOM missionary shared Jesus Christ with her. She discovered that Jesus is the only one who gives eternal life, the only one who can save her soul. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior, and she immediately received baptism. Now her life is full of joy, and she loves to share her story with her family and friends.
He is 16 years old and is one of six children. He has an older brother who is a Buddhist monk, and he was also a monk for two years. His uncle, who is a Christian, shared the gospel with him before he was forced to become a monk by his mother who is very devout in her Buddhist faith. She was extremely worried that her family might believe Jesus so she forced some of her children to become monks.
Even though he was serving as a monk, the seed of the gospel, that his uncle had planted, was still in his heart, and he was very unhappy during this time. He prayed to God to give him a way out, and God opened a door for that to happen through his Christian village. He attended a MOM discipleship school and learned more about Jesus and now he wants to become a missionary himself one day. He is so happy to be learning God’s word, and he will be baptized soon. We believe that God will use him mightily for His kingdom.
